The
pale that we manufacture is 1.6mm thick, 40 mm wide, roll-formed,
hot dipped galvanized to SABS 763 SABS ISO 1461 Standards.
The cross member is a 40 x 40 x 2mm angle iron. The posts
are 50 x 50 x 1.6mm thick square tubing, with intermediate
brackets, for a 6mm cup square bolt to be fitted to the
cross members, also all hot dipped galvanised. We use
a bolt on system, the bolts are 8mm and anti-tamper shear
off nuts are used. All the nuts and bolts are Kalguarded
(developed for the use on shipping containers). Steel
pyramid styled caps are welded to the top of the posts.
Each panel is 2.5m from centre to centre and has 15 pales
per panel; Gaps between the pales are 115mm. |
